I had to watch this in segment because I couldn’t contain myself. I’ll go with the 911 RSR 3.0 and the 997 Cup car. You don’t have to watch the whole thing, but at least stay for the 935 backfire at 1:45 and 2:10.
Keswick, Ontario. Home of Sterling Tire. Worth the drive. I was in need of some rear rubber. Since I ran 215 40s in the rear last year. I wanted a slightly chunkier chunkier 205 40 to keep the outer diameter and rake the same as last year. Ended up with Nexens. Almost identical size to my previous setup. I had planned on taking more photos but found out the hardest part about taking photos is just remembering to take more photos. lol. I seem to do that all the time. Dave and I shared photo duty. Still only managed 4 good ones. We did catch Jimmy from Pfaff Tuning in his M3, on the way back to Toronto. OOhhh lawwwwddd. That e92 sounded good.
This idea came about pretty fast. After viewing an Air Society post about Eurokracy’s Hotel of choice. I mentioned the Scraped.Crusaders. contingency of 20 or so people strong. Rick from Air Society quickly replied with an “if you organize it, they will come” proposal for a Toronto to Montreal cruise. So…. we’re doing it.
We like shinny things. When Geoff and I decided to get our wheels refinished we wanted to have the best. I’ve always been impressed with Dave’s (of Stanceiseverything.com) Works. So I went to the shop responsible for polishing them. Precision Rim Repair. They are more than just a polishing shop. They correct bends, re weld cracks, sandblast, strip, and overall perform miracles on damaged wheels. While dropping the wheels off Ric found a crack on one of my barrels. Fortunately, I was already at the right place. It was welded up while the set was getting polished. Geoff`s LM`s are currently getting a polish job too. Along with a few dents straightened.
